Introduction: Web site design, deployment and upkeep.
Building a professional, attractive website takes a lot of thought and hard work.
For most small businesses venturing into a Web presence for the first time, their first question is: “How do I start?”
We categorize our site designs into two types:
Static Web Site Design: A static web site is one that has web pages stored on the server in the same format that the user will view them.
They are normally changed or edited infrequently or as necessary by a single manager. Interaction with the web site owner is usually accomplished through contact form pages within the site. Examples of these are information, advertising and link sites.
A common practice for static sites is to be used as a link (or launch site) to affiliated dynamic sites.
Dynamic Web Site Design: A dynamic Web site is one that has frequently changing information. As a user views, orders, or makes comments within the Web site, an internal process changes the information within the site. Examples of these are retail, auction, Content Management Systems (CMS), forums and some Blog sites
These site types can be combined into a coherent overall design package.
Launching a Web presence may be intimidating to beginners, but can be accomplished with minimum inconvenience and expense by doing everything in a step-by-step process.
